OVO stands for October's Very Own as Drake was born october 24. OVO is the annual festival that Drake holds in Toronto. The logo for OVO is an owl that Drake can be seen wearing at times. XO is the slogan and logo of R&B singer The Weeknd. X stands for kiss, O hug.

Gabriel ‘Assylum’ Jamal is a budding Kenyan artiste who is daring to go where few have managed to establish themselves in our local industry. The singer/actor/producer has released his second single Mbazita, a funky dancehall tune that’s sure to get your attention with its promising lyrical flow as you’ll find yourself trying to say ‘Mbazita’ over and over again. Then you’ll discover what a tongue twister it may turn out to be.
Assylum is not a newbie though: he was formerly signed onto Rooster Music Nigeria but decided to go solo about a year ago.
‘I come up with the concepts for my videos… I feel it adds authenticity to it and I get to appreciate more the work I come up with,’ says the industrious musician.
The buck doesn’t stop there though, as Assylum revealed to Niaje! that he has featured in a local television production.
‘I am an actor…. I featured in MTV’s Shuga; Love Sex and Money,’ he said.
Putting his feet up even after his latest release is out of his mind though as Assylum told us he’s just finished a track this previous week which is being produced by Homeboyz.
Mbazita, like his first single, was produced by Babz on the Track of Undadawg Productions. Here’s the video… we think it’s a WIN! What do you think?

Kanye West Addresses Kim Kardashian Sex Tape on New Song

Kanye West is smitten with new girlfriend Kim Kardashian if a slew of admiring tweets and affectionate paparazzi photos are any indication, but what does he think of her decidedly overexposed past? On his verse from the new G.O.O.D. Music single "Clique," which was obtained by TMZ, Mr. West openly addresses the infamous sex tape that helped make Kim a household name.

"Eat breakfast at Gucci / My girl a superstar all from a home movie," 'Ye rhymes, referencing the name of Kim's sex tape Kim Kardashian: Superstar.
Released in 2007 and co-starring ex-boyfriend Ray-J, the leaked video caused a stir as part of an emerging trend of celebrity sex tapes. Kim later sued distributor Vivid Entertainment for ownership of the tape and settled out of court for $5 million.

Like any good boyfriend, it looks like Kanye excepts Kim for who she is — and who she was......REALLY DUDE???COMM'ON MEN!

Serena Williams Responds to Drake Romance Rumors

The tennis star says the two are just "close friends."

Rumors that Drake and tennis star Serena Williams are an item have been circulating ever since the Young Money rapper was seen at her recent match in Toronto. But Williams tried to set the record straight and said the two are not dating. Not at the moment anyway.


"Oh, man. Really? We're really close friends," she tells The Toronto Star. "Can't be too close to a friend nowadays, I guess."

Apparently not. And you definitely can't cheer your friends' triumphs because that could very well end up being fuel for the rumor mill, too. What do you think about this supposed coupling?

The pop star's new body art has fans speculating if it’s a tribute to his ex.

After Chris Brown recently turned up with a mysterious new tattoo on his neck, fans and observers are wondering if the ink job is a tribute to his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

The tattoo is a stylized portrait of a woman's face with full lips and arched eyebrows that bears an uncanny resemblance to Rih Rih. Chris Brown reportedly denies that the tat is of his former love, however, and close friends of his tell TMZ that it's just supposed to be a random woman.

Looking at the tat, fans can draw their own conclusions.

Recently, Brown and Rihanna shared a friendly embrace at the MTV VMAs. Despite all the drama that has transpired between them, Rihanna recently called Chris "the love of my life."now w.t.f do u call this honestly?

PETA Calls Rihanna a Freak for Fashion Choices

The animal rights group also called out Lady Gaga.

Never get on PETA's bad side. The animal rights group has just branded Rihanna and Lady Gaga as "freaks" for their "creepy and callous fashion choices." The Bajan singer was spotted strutting down the streets of London in snakeskin thigh-high boots last Thursday while Mother Monster was called a hypocrite for wearing fur coats after being quite vocal about her distaste for it.

"Rihanna may not have a clue that snakes killed for boots are often nailed to a tree and skinned alive. Of course, they can't go on Oprah to cry about it," said a PETA spokesperson. "Wearing reptile skin is creepy and callous, and it makes her look even more out of touch. She and Lady Gaga seem so desperate to be freaks instead of recognized for their talents that you have to wonder if they realize that they are being laughed at."

Drake Cancels Show After Uncle’s Death

The rapper heads home to be with grieving family.

It looks like things have taken an unfortunate turn for Drake, as the Toronto hip hop star has been forced to cancel a concert in Florida tomorrow night due to a family tragedy.

"We regret to announce that Drake will not be able to take the stage at Universal Orlando Resort due to a death in the family," a rep for Drake said in a statement.

TMZ is reporting that Drake's uncle passed away.

"He hopes that his fans understand the situation he finds himself in and know that he fully intends to return to the area in the future. He thanks Universal Orlando Resort and his fans for their continued support,” the statement concluded.
